Règles d'appariement des polices
Voici quelques règles de base pour créer de superbes associations de polices :
1. Complément
Il est toujours sûr de trouver des paires de polices qui se complètent.
Une bonne combinaison de polices doit s'harmoniser, sans être trop similaire ou trop différente.
2. Utilisez les superfamilles de polices
Une superfamille de polices est un ensemble de polices conçues pour bien fonctionner ensemble. Ainsi, l'utilisation de différentes polices au sein de la même superfamille est sans danger.
Par exemple, la superfamille Lucida contient les polices suivantes : Lucida Sans, Lucida Serif, Lucida Typewriter Sans, Lucida Typewriter Serif et Lucida Math.
3. Le contraste est roi
Deux polices trop similaires seront souvent en conflit. Cependant, les contrastes, bien faits, font ressortir le meilleur de chaque police.
Exemple : combiner serif avec sans serif est une combinaison bien connue.
Une superfamille forte comprend à la fois des variantes avec et sans empattement de la même police (par exemple, Lucida et Lucida Sans).
4. Choisissez un seul patron
Une police devrait être le patron. Cela établit une hiérarchie pour les polices de votre page. Ceci peut être réalisé en faisant varier la taille, le poids et la couleur.
